One thing that made me happy yesterday

My daily goal is to be happy. My mission is to inspire you to get more happiness in your life and I do it with my posts here at my blog for instance where I share lots of tips. Another way to do it is to inspire you to try yourself and therefore I´ve started a challenge at Instagram called: This makes me happy. The challenge is a perfect way for you to be more happy through the day, to be happy more often and for you to see how your life seems to get easier. All you have to do is to look for things that makes you happy and then take a photo of your findings. You post your photos on Instagram using the hashtag #thismakesmehappy. This challenge forces you to change your focus cause you´ll spend your day looking for things that makes you smile and after a couple of days you will make some great results in your life and in your relationships. The challenge will go on for at least a couple of weeks and I really hope you will join me to get a great change in your life towards more happiness.

Happy for no reason

Happy for no reasonI´ve had a fabulous day today! Just awesome! I have a cousin who lives in Portland, Oregon and she is now here in Sweden visiting her mom and friends. I think it´s ten years since we met so it was wonderful to meet her today. She and her mother came to visit me today and I loved every minute. So right now I´m just sitting here with a big smile feeling totally happy. So, today it was really easy for me to reach my daily goal: to be happy. This gives me another memory to put in my bank of things being happy for another day when it´s harder to reach my daily goal of feeling happy. I guess that you already have figured out the topic of this post. Yes, today I´m gonna write about being happy for no reason and that´s really my favorite topic. Ready?

AnastaciaA wonderful day today, right? I´ve had an awesome day today and I reached my daily goal again. My daily goal is to be happy. Do you have any daily goals? I would love to hear about your goals so please leave a comment and inspire me and all the other readers with your daily goals. And when we now are talking about happiness it´s time to talk about the topic for this post, positive thinking. I guess that you have heard that thoughts create worlds, your thoughts create your life and that you can get what you want just trough your thoughts. In this post I give you 10 reasons why positive thinking benefits you and after reading it I hope that you understand more about why thoughts create. Everything that happens in our lives is interpreted by our mind. If you are in a good mood the interpretation differs from the interpretation you gets when you are in a bad mood. For instance, if you are driving your car and a driver in front of you drives way too slow and you are in a good mood, then it wont bother you so much. But if you are in a bad mood you will get very irritated and start cursing at that other driver. Same situation but different reaction from you. And it is all in your mind and your thoughts. The relationship with yourself is life-long and the most important relation you´ll ever have. A very common motto is: “Treat others as you want to be treated”. I have chosen to “rebuild” the motto to serve better with reality to: “Treat yourself like you treat others.” We are often experts in dwelling in negative thoughts, we judge ourselves very hard, tell ourselves that we are useless, say to ourselves that we will fail in everything, we almost vomit when we look in the mirror because we are so ugly and fat. Wiiihooo! I´ve had just a fabulous day and I´m happier than ever. And now you may think I won the lottery? Or that I´ve reached some great goal of my dreams? Or that I found my dream house? Or that I… no no no and no. Nothing “big” has happened but it has been this perfect day. I made it the perfect day all by my self. Isn´t that just great? Yesterday I told you about an e-mail I got from a publishing company for e-books and today the editor phoned me and we talked about the details and then I got the contract in my inbox. Isn´t that just fantastic! I love life when everything goes easy and that´s the way it´s supposed to be. That´s the way Law of Attraction describes how it should be. So me and my husband have celebrated tonight with some good food and a glass of wine.

Howdy, Babes!

AwesomeI´m so thrilled over an email I got yesterday. The mail came from a publishing company for e-books and they where interested in hire me as an author to write an e-book about creativity in groups. So, tomorrow the agent are giving me a call so she can tell me more about this exciting project. I´m gonna write the book in Swedish and maybe they´ll translate it to English too.

I´m also very happy that we have summer today. I say today because the sun is actually shining right now and it makes me so happy because we´ve had so much rain this summer.

What makes you happy today? I guess you know that the way to happiness is the small everyday things.

An effective way to stop negative thinking

Here is a short post with a great tip for stopping a negative thought.

The best way to stop negative thinking is to distract your brain. After you´ve distracted it you just replace the negative thought with a more positive thought. Just take a rubber band as you see on the picture below. Put it around your wrist and pull it away from the wrist and let go so you feel pain. As soon as the rubber band hits your wrist the pain will distract your brain for a moment and that gives you a couple of seconds to start a new, positive thought. So easy and so effectiveRubber band.
